SS50,
I know having this issue continue is not the what I would want to keep dealing with. I wanted to know if you have visited one of our Verizon Wireless stores to see about picking up a new SD Card? I am thinking this may help solve this problem. If you would like one sent out to you, please let us know. In the meantime, here is a link to our direct store locations nearest to you. http://spr.ly/65868gcpm .

I wish it were that simple but I purchased a card from Verizon Wireless online in November and know that card works but when put in the phone, the sd card missing message appears.

This is not the experience we want you to have with your phone and SD card, SS50. We sure want your SD card to be read correctly by your phone. Upon further review of my resources I see that a factory reset will resolve post software update issues and you indicate that these issues started after the latest update.
Please do a factory reset as per this link and test: https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-178352/
