Text messaging quit working on Ford Sync after JB 4.1.2 upgrade. How do I fix this?

Do a Google search on "ford sync map jellybean jb 4.1.2" (without the " ") and you'll understand why.  Seems the needed MAP protocol was removed from Jellybean.
