Unable to conect to proxy server

New Droid Turbo is not allowing me to surf internet.  Attempts generate "unable to connect to proxy server" message.  How can I remedy this problem?

Are you trying to use the internet connected to your wi-fi or trying to connect to the internet using the cellular network?

That was it.  Turned off wifi and was able to connect.

Excellent.

You'll want to take a closer look at your Wi-Fi / Router / Modem setup if you're having trouble connecting to it. My suggestion for that is to turn everything off for 5 minutes and then plug in the modem, wait, plug in the router, wait and then try to connect. If your router and modem are all in one, then just unplug for 5 minutes and plug it back in.
