Why Is My Droid Maxx Powering Off By Itself?

My Droid Maxx has started to power off by itself, sometimes up to 13 times in one hour. It has done this beginning after 6 months of ownership, but that was only occasionally, and it would happen only once. Now it is every day and of course it's not time to upgrade yet. Is there any way to fix it?
