Why is my screen black ?

I have tried several button combinations, plugged in my phone on and off, tried many sugessions, that I have googled.

I am just plain stumped on this, been talking with the nice Verizon people on facebook social media web site, for a good time.

I am not angry at anyone but my own stupidily (mind you, I have build many urls out of nothing). Anyways is there a fixer upper?

I do not want to drive all the way clear across town to the tiny Verizon building way up in town, in this wet season of ours either.

Need help please.
