Do you have a dual-band router? If so, make the SSID names for the 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz access points different, and try forgetting the 5.0GHz connection and connect to the 2.4GHz access point.

Go-to settings, location, tap the three dots found top right of the screen, then tap scanning. Turn off WiFi and Bluetooth. I had the same problem and this solved it.
