how do I remove the not needed bluetooth device off my phone?

I bought a new Bluetooth & now I have 2 connected to my phone but I don't know how to delete the old one.

settings > bluetooth > ensure it's On so that you can see your list of paired devices; look for the gear to the right of the device you want to remove, then tap it > tap Forget
