I downloaded the Google keyboard, after losing Swype due to the KitKat update. I set it as my default but only allows me speaker mode. I even rebooted the phone and still no keyboard?
I'm sorry you lost the swipe functionality on your phone after your update anna_weez. I know its frustrating. If you have removed all problematic apps from your phone and continue to have issues, I recommend a hard reset as a last step to fixing your issue. Here are the steps http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/devices/knowledge_base.html/49625 . Keep us posted.
