wont ring for texting

wont ring when I get text but rings for calls.  I have checked all the settings and they are set right but still not ringing.

That's definitely odd, but we will work on this to get your sound back so you never miss a text. When is the last time you were able to confirm it alerts you with sound for a text message? Has anything been downloaded since or any physical or water damage? Did you access Settings>Sounds or Messaging>Menu>Settings?
