Confirming low TV volume. Remote reset of box did not help.

I have a brand new TV LG 50" TV that works flawlessly and has normal sound when using any

attached electronic device such as Wii,PS3,XBOX,XBOX360,computer/laptop,VCR.

They have normal sound level at volume 10-15.

But when I use FIOS TV to get normal sound depending on the television station then the volume control

must be set at 44 or volume 70.

This is deffinitive a FIOS TV problem because even though XBOX360 has perfect sound if I use the FIOS XBOX 360 app

then watch streaming live TV then also same issue even though my xbox360 sound must be increased to volume 70.

So with the above symptoms and logic to understand this is not a TV issue but a FIOS digital box issue.

I would like to get this resolved ASAP.

THANKS!

I assume that you have already checked the settings menu for those variables that would affect the volume output by the STB? There are three settings to look at: fixed/variable; dynamic range; and STB volume. Beyond that, there will be some difference between entertainment inputs due to other considerations like compression, but the amount you cite seems a bit much.
