Any clue why local stations will no play on FIOS TV Mobile for iOS (33-PLYB_UI-174), Android (43-PLYB_UI-174), or even https://tv.verizon.com/watch? I'm in-home on my 16 hour old FIOS network. App Help has been useless at anything other than closing tickets after telling me to restart and reinstall. Phone based support says app based help is the only way.

It could be the local stations will not allow Fios to stream their content. Many providers are doing this to 3rd party apps.
