After I’ve made a call or received a call, a friend will call me back and asked if I called because they see a missed call

Am I being spoofed or has my phone number hacked? Anything I can do about it, it’s now happened twice where two of my friends asked if I called them but I did not.

Knowing what to do is crucial, especially if this problem has happened twice. Have you provided your number to third-party groups (online shopping, internet surveys, etc.)? Aside from the missed calls received by your friends, any other issues going on with your number/phone? Does your device show the outgoing calls to your friends and have you done any recent changes (new apps, software update, etc.)?
