***Announcement: Early next week, we’ll be merging the current Fios and Wireless Communities into the all new Verizon Community! Beginning the evening of Sunday 12/4, both Communities will be placed in read-only mode. You’ll still be able to visit the Communities and browse content, but login will be disabled. On the afternoon of Monday 12/5, all users will be able to log into the new Verizon Community. We expect the new Community to be fully functional the morning of Friday 12/9. Recently Verizon in our area has dropped from 4G/3G to LTE only.  UGH!!! After HOURS with tech support/engineer level several of us have been told that they took out our 3G tower and we need to buy a booster, etc. I don't think this will help.  This is so frustrating. We have used Verizon for internet for years and now we can't use it at all.  I guess we'll switch to HughesNet or some such and just get phones where you buy minutes, but it's so frustrating. Seems everywhere is moving forward and rural areas are being swept aside because we are not important customers

Verizon was supposed to have CDMA completely shut down by the end of this year, and that’s delayed from supposedly shut down at the end of last year. Unfortunately 3G and 2G longer range than LTE.  We’re going to see a lot more complaints
