If my plan is the Unlimited Plan, why am I being capped at 15 GB and slowed down thereafter? Isn't that misleading, especially during a crisis when online access is crucial for survival? How can Verizon call this an Unlimited Plan since is clearly finite?
Do you get charged for data used after 15GB? No. Did Verizon advertise anywhere about unlimited 4G speed? No.
This isn't a home internet replacement. If it worked like home internet, everyone would be bogged down with the congestion at all times. Wireless is nowhere near the same level as a wired connection.

Sorry to hear that you have that plan. Fortunately for me, I have true unlimited 4G data on my MiFi device. This is precisely why I have held on to this plan for years. My family and I are enjoying watching movies and online learning without any complications. Let this be a lesson to all of you who have the Grandfathered unlimited data. DO NOT LET IT GO as you can see how the unlimited data is gold in times like these. Thank you Verizon, I look forward to using a lot of your data and not stopping anytime soon.
I can understand your concerns regarding your data service. WE do want to set the right expectation, regarding the plan and services. You are allotted 15 GB of premium data with these plans. After that, speeds are reduced but it is unlimited just at a slower rate.
Yes, we are adding 15 GB of data across nearly all of our plans, to be used between 03/25/2020 and 04/30/2020. To be eligible, you must be on a qualifying postpaid (unlimited or shared), Jetpack or prepaid plan:
Note: If you’re on a shared or account level plan, all lines on the account will share the data. If each line on your account has its own plan, each will receive its own data.
