Verizon keeps disconnecting when I am speaking with Verizon representatives

I have been trying to resolve an issue with Verizon. I spent over 12 hours on the phone on July 17, 2021 and over 2 hours today. Verizon hung up on me twice, and the call was disconnected at least 5 or 6 times and I had to start over. They don't call back. I was also put on unending holds and they never picked back up at least 3 times. Again, they virtually never call back. 

How can you resolve a problem with them when they keep hanging up on you or disconnecting you when you are in the middle of speaking with them or if they put you on hold and never pick up again?
