Verizon's website is horrible. I have to create a new password and/or user name every other time I sign in. I have had difficulties with it for years and have complained to customer service (and Verizon employees I've met -- and they all say they agree!). For a while, things will improve, but then it gets bad again. Given that it's a huge tech company, why can't it make signing in to the website more user friendly? Come on! One user name, one password for Wireless and Residential. If that's too difficult, set up dfifferent websites for the two.
By the way, I just signed out and signed in within a 15 second period. The website said it didn't recognize my computer and asked for various validations. Fifteen seconds!
Yes i've also noticed that i get the pop up for the website "said it didn't recognize my computer and asked for various validations" every time now, that is something new, as it has never done that in the past.
Imagine if people didn't steal phones or fraud being a problem in the telecom industry. Imagine someone gaining access to your My Verizon account to treat themselves to equipment billed to your account.
Agreed. Even if we disregard the horrible UX, the website is riddled with bugs. It's impossible to navigate and accomplish even simple tasks without encountering a whole suite of errors, non-existent pages, spurious log outs, etc.
If you told me Verizon had no QA team I would believe you in a heartbeat. Easily the worst web experience I have ever come across. Potentially even worse than UIs that are designed to be confusing. I'd be utterly embarrassed to be a software engineer working for this company.
I am new to Verizon, and have been trying for TWO days to order Airpods and a wireless charger. I can't believe that it is this difficult to submit an order!
Hello, navigating through a new website can certainly be frustrating. We are here to aid you in the best way possible. Please tell us more, what exactly happens when you try to order the Apple AirPods and the wireless charger?
I am trying to renew my services, I can't even click on the Continue Button at "Give us permission to give you our best offers"
Same this with the Fios APP on my phone I can't even access my plan to search for new options and renew

Even the employees in the store say the website is awful, and they have no luck doing the simplest of tasks. Just trying to manage my pin number today, the website failed over and over. "Page not working" errors all day long. If you shop plans, good luck. One wrong click and you'll LOSE everything. I'm sure they don't want to spend the money on a decent website...but if they did, maybe MORE people would subscribe to verizon. The website is actually quite embarrassing and poorly organized. The phone service is great (usually) but has gone downhill a bit the past few years. Website = always been awful.
