no signal anymore

Our phones are no longer working in my house. I have an ASUS, and my wife has a samsung. The reception in here used to be perfect until this past couple of month's, now we cannot make a call out and noone can call in. My phone continusly asks me to connect to a wireless network in order to make a call which I have done. Occasionally it will conect but then promptly disconnects after very broken reception and says "server time out". It is beyond frustrating. I run a small buisness from my home and cannot function as is any longer. Please help me.
