I am having trouble sending a text message. Currently using samsung galaxy s21, under view details of the failed text it says

Status: unsuccessful
Error code:Ntwk.Res.
Its only to one person, if anyone can help!

I have the same problem with a phone number i was able to text prior to my switch last week. Please make the resolution of this problem public so people like me can just look it up and fix it.

Are you able to call this particular mobile number? What happens when you send a text? Which text message application are you using?

I am having this same issue. My wife and I can only text our son in a group message. Since 18 Aug 2022, we can not send him a personal text. We get the error "unsuccessful error code ntwk.res". He also can not text us, just only in a group text. He has a 1Phone, we both have Samsung products.

I am experiencing the same problem with one contact I can no longer send to. It is my Dad and we have texted for years. This stopped working a couple of days ago. I have a Samsung S21 Galaxy Ultra.

Hello Verity7. We know the importance of being able to communicate via text message with loved ones. We'll do all we can to help. Have you attempted to delete the contact information and thread, then trying to send the text messages again? What is the make and model of your Dads' phone?

I learned that the issue seems to be with his phone as he is unable to receive or send text messages. He is working through the issue with Verizon. Thanks for follow up.

I have this same problem. I have reset my network 3 times. And nothing. The techs for Verizon couldnt find anything wrong.
Maybe it's on the other person's end. Had similar the other day and a friend accidentally hit airplane mode and didn't realize it.
We do want to make sure that you can send text messages without any issues. Are you having these issues with every person that you are trying to text? Or is it a specific contact on your phone? Are you able to receive text messages without any issues (that you know of)? Can you make and receive phone calls on the device?
