I have an Active 2 and Note 9. When out of Bluetooth range, I cannot send or receive texts using my cell number (only watch number.) Store associates & on-line associates have checked that Numbershare is set up properly. Calls work fine when out of Bluetooth range.
Does anyone successfully have this set up? Samsung support told me that texts using the cell number won’t work on the Active until a software update.

This watch relies on the host smartphone's messaging capabilities and features. We don't want you to complete any duplicate troubleshooting steps. What troubleshooting steps did you complete with Samsung? Are you using the default text messages or Verizon Messages on your device?
