Short version...ataff at the Verizon Wireless location handled the data transfer to my new phone, and I didn't get it in my hands until the factory reset was done on my old phone, an LG G5. None of my photos, files or ringtones transferred and I didn't realize until I had left the store. Nothing in the Google cloud, Verizon cloud, anywhere. Initial additional recovery software wasn't able to bring anything back in store either.
I'm on hold with Tier 2 support now, but has anyone had luck recoverling like this before?
Cherished memories are very important and I don't know what I would do if I lost my photos. I want to make sure this is addressed for you, so we can see what can be done about getting your pictures back. When you first set up your phone, did you register it to an email address? Can you tell me what platform you were using to save your pictures? ChetonJ_VZW
if they're on some cloud, you should be able to recover them.
