Backup app in the LG K20V

Does the LG backup app cost extra for the LG K20V? I just got this phone and was using the Cloud. Verizon just updated the Cloud to Cloud Premium and it will cost $5.00/month which I can't afford. I could still use the old Cloud, but it now only backs up contacts and nothing else. The Premium backup backs up everything, just like the old Cloud used to do.
