Bluetooth and calls drop

I use my LG G3 for work and since the update to Lolipop, it disconnects from my car Bluetooth during a call and sometimes drops the call completely.  When I try to redial, it's unresponsive and has restarted several times which delays me from calling back my customers for at least 3-5 minutes.  When I see someone calling me, it sometimes doesn't allow me to swipe to answer and on top of that, there's no record of the person calling when I look at recent calls.  My customers say they hear nothing when I try picking up the phone.  I already did a hard reset hoping that would fix the issues but still the same.

I was told by a Verizon in store CS rep that LG and Verizon are well aware of this problem  anday a patch should be coming out this week.   Was that just a big lie? The phone is crap until this gets fixed.
