Can't get a location fix with gps

For the past three days, my phone has been attempting to find its' location with the internal gps.  However, it has not found a location.  The icon in the notification bar just sits there and blinks.

I even tried the app GPS Fix, which has worked well for me before with this phone and previous ones, but no luck.  It tries, but also cannot find a location.

This leads me to believe that it is hardware issue.  I bought my G3 on July 15, 2014.  Is it still covered under some sort of warranty?  I did not purchase any additional device warranty or protection when I bought the phone.

This is very frustrating because I use apps that require a precise GPS location in order to work.  Can't even use Waze.
