Cannot print gmail

The 3 button drop down when on gmail used to offer share via brother Iprint and scan.  Now there is no share and when I hit print nothing happens. I had this problem years ago but don't recall the fix.  Thx

Printing emails can be one way to archive or share them, but let's get a bit more info on this first. Are you using the Gmail app itself to view your emails? When viewing a specific message, tapping on the 3 dots in the upper-right corner would show several options including "Print" if you are on the latest app version. Are you connected to your printer when attempting this?

Thx for the response. When I hit the 3 buttons in the gmail app and get

the print option and select it......across the screen, very quickly, pops

up the arrow going in circles and please wait. And nothing....no option to

share or open with Iprintand scan. No doc to print. Have no prob printing

remotely from my Asus transformer and used to use Android as preferred

print option in gmail bcz it was easier.

What changes (upgrades, downloads, etc...) have you made to your device prior to printing concern? What troubleshooting steps have you performed so far http://vz.to/2drnmLn.

Thank you. I am using Samsung Note 3. I am terrible with time but think

this started in December. The one thing I recall doing bfr I had the

problem (this time) was add a gmail account. Adding that account caused a

bunch of "syncing" among other things.

When I clicked on the page you highlighted I get "unexpected error"

message. I copied into browser and put into search bar: "Cant print

gmail." None of the proposed items over the 6 pages deal with printing

unless I missed it. Did you try it and find anything re printing?

I've deleted and reinstalled brother plug in and Iprint and scan apps. I've

searched forums, tried desparately to recall the simple solution to this

problem from the last 2 times it occurred, shut down and restarted printers

and phone (numerous times)....turned on and off samsung and google cloud

print. What do you suggest?

As I remember there was something very simple I did the last time to fix

this (that I found on a forum somewhere - verizon, samsung, google....don't

know). I always preferred to print from this phone rather than find and

turn on my computer to do so but I cannot seem to do so now at all. Thank

you for your help.

you have to save into whatever program is tied to your printer, then print, for me it's samsung cloud print.

you won't print from within a mail app!!

What has caused this change, Bearone21? I used to, for years, be able to be

in gmail and print via brother. I didn't have to go to my brother app,

open it, find the email, and print that way.

Also, Bearone21, if I'm in gmail on my Asus transformer and choose print my

brother printer shows up as the destination and I can print remotely to

that printer. Used to work from android. Sorry to be stupid about this.
