I have reinserted battery, long hold on power button, factory wall charger, checked port, and have not updated recently. What is next? Saw a similar post without complete answer or things to try.

sallyruth4,
Oh no! Having a phone that doesn’t charge has to be frustrating. Let’s get this resolved. When did this problem start? Have you tried to charge the phone in different outlets? When you plug the USB cord into the charging port, is it in their firmly or is it loose? Do you know if the phone has any sort of physical or liquid damage?

No physical or water damage. Using original cord, etc. Tried another
phine with that cord, tried another cord on the prime...seems to be phone.
History...Played til dead, then would not show it was charging with either
light, turning on, or battery charging icon. Tried to wait 15 minutes,
then power on, no indication it was charging. Opened back, reinserted
batt, waited 15, no indication.
Later, son removed back, long held power button with battery out and
reinsert ed battery and then a glimmer 9f hope...Samsung icon. Thanks for
getting back with me. Figured it out, now.
