How do I get rid of the gray status bar after the Marshmallow update?

I just received the Marshmallow 6.0.1 update for my Note 5.  Does anyone know if Verizon disabled the ability to unlock the system UI tuner option?  On a normal android phone, if you swipe down from the top and open up the notification menu then press and hold the settings gear, you're supposed to be able to unlock the system UI option.  The gray status bar is hideous, especially with a black screensaver.  Even with Nova Prime I'm unable to change the color or transparency of the status bar like I was with Lollipop.  What gives, Verizon?!

Turn off power saver. It's a Samsung thing.

Looks like I either stumped everyone or Verizon doesn't want to answer...

Also UI tuner isn't on any Samsung phone.

Well whaddaya know!  I wonder why they changed this for Marshmallow?  I used to keep it on power save mode all the time with Lollipop.....either way, thanks a lot!

It has probably something to do with the base code and Google requirements to use it. At least they didn't use that gaudy orange color lol

There is no UI tuner. Also there is no way other than voiding your warranty  or possibly if Samsung allows that portion to be themed with a theme.
