Look no further help is here! I can definitely understand your concern. Keeping your contacts safes is definitely important.

Were the contacts deleted from the phone as well? How were they deleted? Did you have backup  assistant or the Verizon Cloud on the phone? Were you backing up the contacts using your Gmail account?
