I want to use an old LG K8 phone strictly for music. How can I stop the activation message from popping up?

I was given a LG K8 phone by my mother (not stolen) to use strictly to play music. A message about activating the phone keeps appearing. How can I make that message go away?

JIGGY8IT, we want you to be able to use that K8 device for music playing as desired. I welcome the opportunity to address your inquiry. If there's no option to Skip the activation message, then you won't be able to stop that activation message without a PC (you can Google
