Just as the title says, picked up a duo today and haven't been receiving text messages. I have LTE connection, i am receiving phone calls, emails etc and i can send out texts. i am just not receiving any. any.
I came from an iphone but i have already disabled imessage and facetime as well as deregister my phone number from imessage.

We are sorry to hear that this is an issue for you and want to make sure you are all set to receive text messages. With regard to this option has this always been an issue for you? Are you able to make calls and use data services?

Microsoft's Surface Duo launched this week, and people trying to use the device on Verizon's network are running into issues with SMS messaging. According to several people in a thread on the Surface Duo subreddit, the Surface Duo fails to register a phone number for RCS messaging and cannot receive SMS messages. Luckily, there is a simple solution to this issue, switching to CDMA-less for your Surface Duo.
