During the day the screen brightness works fine in Auto mode.
At night (based on a preset schedule I'm guessing), the brightness slider (with the Auto setting checked) no longer works and does not change the relative brightness of the display. Instead it remains too dim to be functional and requires me to uncheck the Auto setting every night and manually adjust it.
I'm running Android 5.1.1 with Software Version VS9853B | Configuration version J13.LGE.VS985.0 | Kernel version 3.4.0-perf-g1ac374b | Build Number LMY47V
You’ve come to the right place for help darkmatter661. We definitely want to help get your phone’s screen brightness right. How long has this been going on? Has the screen brightness worked before on auto mode at night? Does the screen brightness get brighter when you tap on the screen or do you have to manually adjust it every time?
