Any idea what would be the final spec for LG G3 Verizon?
I'm really hoping that Verizon will opt for the 32G/3G version.......
I doubt it will be a 3G only phone. The G2 was a 4G LTE phone, I can't imagine LG would take a step backwards with the G3.
I think jtkgy is talking about 32GB of storage RAM 3GB of system RAM vice the 16GB of storage RAM and 2GB of system RAM as LG has 2 versions of the phone that will be released.
I, too, am hoping Verizon goes with the higher spec phone.
Yes... 32G of storage and 3G of RAM........
No point having less of a spec than the G2 in this regard.
I pre-ordered my G3 today and Verizon opted for the 32 GB model. Before I ordered, I looked at the Galaxy S5 too. These two phones are pretty evenly matched on base specs (cpu, gpu, etc.).
What made the final decision for me was that this phone had the extra gb or ram and twice the internal memory of the S5.
It should also be noted that out of box, you get the new laser focus system, optical image stabilization (no other Verizon phone has that to my knowledge), and a Quad HD Display (no other Verizon phone has that... yet).
Now, with the lead time that LG had over Samsung, I would have rather seen them include a Snapdragon 805 chipset instead of the 801.
The Galaxy F or Galaxy S Prime rumored to be coming in September or October will likely have everything you couldn't get with the G3. They are talking QHD screen, Snapdragon 805, metal casing. If that phone is going to be that good, I'm glad I got the G3 on Edge so I can pay up if I want to "upgrade."
While I paid full price for mine (I'm one of those evil unlimited data plan holders), I could see myself switching out sometime after the Galaxy F / S5 Prime comes out.
The only reason I didn't wait is the G3 is far superior to my HTC One Max.
It should also be noted that Samsung drops the ball a lot. What we read on web is not always the phone they deliver.
32GB/3GB RAM is confirmed.
Just looked at the spec sheet.
