LG G4 recall and issues

I was sold a LG G4 by a third party seller.   I have had to have it replaced twice by the insurance company due to issues.  This phone has no value per Verizon and I found out recently they were recalled.   What can I do to get a phone replaced that I paid too much for to begin with and is worth NOTHING for trade in...and has been replaced twice?
