On my S5 I was able to have a double vibrate for email and a single for messages+. I am not finding a way to change that now on my G6. Anyone find a way to make this work?
I know how convenient, and often necessary, it is to have different sounds for different notifications. I'm happy to say there is a way to change the default vibrate setting, that's the first step. This link also has ringtones and notification sounds, but steps 1,5, & 6 relate to your question.
Next, look in the settings for your email app. This is where you can choose a tone or vibration that is not the default one. In other words, let either email or Messages + use the default, and change the other to a different one. Does that make sense?
