Just as the title says. If we own the devices outright, how is our carrier allowed to makes us do something we don't want with our phone? Sure it might be a security update but that is still my call to make on whether I want to apply it or not. I've been seeing issues pop up here and there and everyone knows the conspiracy that as new products are released updates cause older models to slow down and glitch out. I also want the option to root my device in the future and the more my phone gets updated the less options I may end up having to go that route. So Verizon, do me a solid and let me make my own decisions, I'm a big boy and don't need you to make those calls.
The security updates are coming from the manufacturer not the carrier.
