Lost contacts

Last week all of my contacts with pictures disappeared. I tried going to menu in contacts folder looking for back up but there is no back up in menu. Please help! I have many contacts in my list and I need them!!

I would be lost without many of my contacts as well so let's work to get them back! To confirm the entire contact listing disappeared or only the pictures associated with them? Have you recently installed any new apps or updates? Were the pictures manually added originally or imported from another app/service like Facbook or Google?
