I'm part of a group text with 17 people. All of a sudden, several of the people are sending me direct texts with a download. No links or explanations, just a download. I think they all happen to be iPhone users, and I am on Android. I ran an antivirus scan on my phone, but should I be worried? How do I get the incoming messages to stop?
I can see why you would be met with confusion if this was not an occurrence in the past. I want to learn a bit more about your issue. What model phone do you have? Does this happen on all group texts outside of this one? Can you confirm that the iPhone users are sending GIFs into the group chat around the same time you are getting these individual direct texts to download?
