Messages keeps crashing all of a sudden

I have been using messaging all day and all of a sudden, about half an hour ago I'm not getting notifications of new texts and when I click on it it keeps saying, Unfortunatley, messaging has stopped. Please help!!

I am getting the same thing.  I tried to find an answer but no such luck.  If I find anything, I will let you know

I got a solution to this.  hold down the power button on back of phone.   then hold down the log off button until it ask you to go into safe mode.  once the phone logs into safe mode, when you go to your messages, it will ask if you want to use message+ instead.  select yes (it is the same thing) and once it's done.  log off and restart phone and the messages will work again.  I just did it, and it works just fine.  I don't see anything different as well.  Hope this works for you
