I seem to be having a problem when using my Galaxy J3 V as a hotspot. Connections either time out - or I get a can't reach that site message / server not found message- although I'm showing connected in network and sharing. I'm able to ping my gateway - but when pinging things like www.google.com or www.yahoo.com I get request timed out.
I also have a t-mobile hotspot - but I'm not having the same issues when I use the same computer logged into that hotspot.
Any ideas on how to fix? (I tried flushing my dns... that didn't do it.)

Gina,
We certainly want to do all we can to try and isolate the root cause of this concern. It seems like it lies somewhere between your personal hotspot and your laptop, as both devices have proven to be working with other pairings.
What type of laptop are you using? Is the T-Mobile hotpot you mention a dedicated hotspot, or a smartphone personal hotspot (like your J3 V)? If it is a smartphone personal hotspot, what make make and model phone is it?
