Since the system update, I do not receive message notifications. No sounds and not even an icon on the notification bar. I've checked all settings to ensure they are turned on and even double checked the individual contacts to make sure the notification sound I've set for that contact is still set. I've even resorted to turning vibration on, which I hate, but that's not even letting me know a message arrives. If I'm not constantly turning my screen on and looking at messages for new message, I have no way of knowing if a new message has arrived. This is not good for battery life or my customers or children... How can this be corrected?
Which phone model do you have? Which message application do you use?
