Network Extender giving phone wrong location

I have had my network extender for a month or so. From day one it shows me as being located 450 miles south of where I am actually located.  It's getting a little irritating. I have cycled it down and restarted it. That has had no affect. I've tried using just GPS and not the network for location. Nothing works. I know my GPS is working because when I find my location using GPS it can find me right away. So is there a way to fix this or am I SOL?

Thanks in advance!

melzywi,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. This would concern me as well. I want to make sure I understand what is happening. You have a Verizon network extender at your home, and when you use the GPS on your phone it shows you 450 miles away? Have you tried to move the GPS unit on the network extender to a different location? Can you make calls OK while connecting to the network extender?

I think the GPS has you in the right area, but your ISP may be based elsewhere.  When you go to Google Maps and look at the blue dot after giving the site location permission, does it have you in the right area?  I am about 4 hours away from my ISPs server, but in the right area for Maps.
