After my phone automatically updated this morning i now have no mobile data. It shows its on but i cant do anything but call and text. Cant use apps or the internet and its frusrating since we pay for the data to begin with

I called Verizon directly and we changed network settings to allow data
roaming and then another network and it fixed it. I am now on LTE/cdma
network and it's great now. Try that otherwise I'd ssuggest calling
Verizon tech support. They walked me through it. Hope it helps you

Before we begin, please tell me exactly what happens or what error messages you get when you try to use applications or surf the web. Does your device display a 4G/LTE signal or are you connected to WiFi? Please let me know so that I can further assist.

It just says im not connected to mobile data or wifi . . when i turn off my wifi it should have mobile data but i dont. It has 4glte up there but its greyed out . . i have full service but qhen i look at my "about phone section" it shows under mobile data state that its disconnected. How did it get disconnected and how do i reconnect it

It started rite after the marshmallow update. I used my wifi for the
update and then my data was gone

did u ever find out what caused this problem?? I am having the same problem and haven't been able to figure out how to fix it. i have factory reset my phone as Verizon instructed but still no data connection unless i'm connected to WiFi
