Phone is roaming at home

So I was on a phone call which suddenly disconnected. I look at my service bars which are usually at 4 with a 4G data connection. However, I see the phone is roaming. It hasn't happened before. I tried to toggle my phone between airplane mode and normal, that didn't work. I live in eastern Tennessee. Is there anything anyone can tell me why this would be happening all of a sudden? Thanks.

Not sure which device you have, but go into settings>more networks>mobile networks>network mode and if you're in global change it to lte/cdma
