***Announcement: Early next week, we’ll be merging the current Fios and Wireless Communities into the all new Verizon Community! Beginning the evening of Sunday 12/4, both Communities will be placed in read-only mode. You’ll still be able to visit the Communities and browse content, but login will be disabled. Restore failed - Verizon Cloud

My phone has factory reset and I am trying to restore the text messages through verizon cloud. Unfortunately I keep getting a 'Restore failed' message after a few minutes.

I have already tried restarting the phone.

I have already tried clearing the app cache of the entire phone.

I have already verified that it is the Verizon cloud app.

I have a strong wi-fi signal as well as a 4G signal.

I have no pending updates.
