Sony Z3V bluetooth audio skips when paired to My Nolan B4+ Headset

I'm having an audio playback issue when I pair to my Nolan Evo motorcycle helmet equipped with the Nolan B4+ headset communicator. The music will skip and at time no audio or missing parts of audio. I don't have anything else at this time to pair it to so I cannot see if it is all devices or just the helmet. I have my helmet sent in to the manufacture for this problem right now and they cannot simulate the issue. It happens on the road or right here in the house with the phone 1 foot away. They are using different phones and cannot duplicate my issue with the Sony Z3V. They do not have a Z3V to use at this time.  It happens with either Pandora or MP3 files. Any ideas that I can pass on to Nolan or that I can take to rectify this issue?
