Unable to update to 5.1.1. Failed, 402

I'm unable to get the update to complete. It downloads, restarts and goes into the recovery/update screed. Android appears and it starts but almost as soon as the progress bar starts moving the phone restarts and after fully starting, says that the update didn't complete.

When I check update history it says Result: update failed 402.

I want to try a few things before fully wiping the phone. I'm both looking for solutions as well as posting do that others can find this if they are having the same problem, since I have yet to run into someone with the same issue during update.

It's very helpful that you've provided these details. The first thing we'd like you to try is performing a soft reset on your device. After this is complete, try the update once again. Let us know whether or not it is successful so we can proceed, if necessary.
