Voicemail

For several days I would get voicemails from robocalls of just one word or the call would go directly to voicemail without ever ringing.  Now my phone is showing that I have several voicemails but when I try to *86 or use the notification symbol to access vm it never connects and eventually disconnects.  I have rebooted my phone, no success with that.  What's going on here?
