Why can't my device read my SIM card?

I've had this phone and sim card for about 1.5 years now. Everything worked fine until recently when the sim card suddenly stopped working as I was using it. I tried removing and reinserting it but that only fixes it for a short time. If I restart my phone, it works for a minute or two then stops again. The error I get is "No SIM found". I even tried a factory reset and it still didn't fix it.

You may need a new SIM card; they're free at your local Corporate VzW store or by contacting Customer Service.
