Will the Moto E4 receive any OS updates?

Has anyone been able to find out if these phones will be updated to Oreo 8.0? I have been to Motorola's site and it is very confusing trying to get any info. I called their customer service and was told that the E series phones will get Oreo.

Motorola will make that decision not Verizon.

Motorola will make that decision not Verizon.

Thanks for your reply. But, as you can see, I have contacted Motorola and all I can get from them is: no; yes and maybe. That's why I posted here to see if anyone on these boards had any more information.

No one will know. The VZW reps that roam this community won't. The community members won't. Even if one knew, they couldn't say anything about it because of the DND agreement they would have signed.
