I cannot delete a text message that a friend sent me. At the bottom of the text message there is a symbol of a lock. If I try to delete this message, nothing happens.
I am able to delete all my other text message, just not this one single message.
How can I delete it?
Long-press the text message and tap Unlock Message.
when I long press the message I get a Menu that says:
Send Message
Mute conversation
Conversation details
Delete conversation
Save messages
There is no "Unlock Message" option.
Sounds like you may be long-pressing the entire text conversation rather than the individual text.
