emails being deleted to trash after being read

My Samsung Galaxy Core Prime is automatically moving all read emails to trash.  Any way to fix this?

Sounds like your email server settings are that way. Remove the account from the phone and re-add it after verifying the mobile server settings associated with your email domain.
